How to order bespoke portraits & commissions
It's easy to order your prints from our online shop - so you know what to expect we've explained the steps below.

Placing your order
1. Select the type of print you would like from portraits & commissions.
2. Click on the 'Get Quote' button or email us for more info.
3. Let us know which type and size of illustration and delivery area (if outside UK).
4. You can upload your photos using the box provided beneath the quote form on the website or email us.
5. We'll email you back with a quote, current lead times and a link to place your order via our online shop - where you can make your payment via credit card or PayPal.
6. On our order page you can select your personalisation options.
7. Once we receive your order we will schedule your commission and start work on your illustration.
8. For bespoke portraits and commissions you'll receive a digital proof via email to ensure you're happy before printing. Your options can be amended once you've received your proof.
9. Once we receive your approval for the proof we'll print your illustration and send it out in the post.

Tips on photo quality
For the best results, your photo needs to be the highest resolution possible.
The better the resolution the better the likeness of your portrait or illustration. ​
Please avoid photos downloaded from social media as these are not very high resolution.
Ensure the light source is in front of your subject not behind it. To find out more about photo quality and choice read our blog.

Frames & Mounts
​Please note we do not provide frames or mounts and they are not included in our prices.​
Here are the dimensions for buying a mount and/or frame to fit our prints:
Frame with mount
For A3 prints - Frame size 20x16" or 40x50cm or with a mount aperture to fit A3
For A4 prints - Frame size 14x11inch or 40x30cm with a mount aperture to fit A4
Frame size without mount - Large A3, Medium A4, Small A5
